What we do
Our innovative, practical programme helps connect people at every level in the journey the business is on. It is delivered through eight stages of activity, each of which carries a series of flexible, creative tools and interventions, which, linked together, form a seamless and integrated methodology which helps embed the Story deep into the heart of the organisation.
We start by creating a simple, credible Story through a facilitated discussion with the senior leadership team, aligning them behind the journey so they are speaking as one voice. The Story provides the context for all existing and future business activities, and paints a strategic picture that is compelling, believable and easy to understand. It is brought to life through a powerful visual identity and populated with human stories from within the business that add credibility and give it an emotional dimension.
We then equip and train leaders and managers to personalise and bring the Story to life for their own teams in a way that is meaningful and relevant to them. We show them how to make the connection – to explore the journey looking at it through the lens of their function or area of the business, then to identify the role that individuals and teams can play in the journey.
We help them share their stories, experiences, knowledge and ideas at team level to demonstrate progress and the contribution they are making to the priorities of the business through open discussion and involvement. The best of these stories – which show by example the kind of actions and behaviours sought to achieve success – are shared across the organisation, celebrating success and recognising the heroes of the business to inspire and motivate others.
It is an ever-evolving Story, articulated by the senior team but co-created and co-owned by the whole organisation. It will need to be refreshed and updated within a certain period of time, but the result will be a change in the way people think and work. A renewed sense of pride, purpose and energy at every level, which has been proved time and time again as productivity and efficiency improves, labour turnover and absenteeism falls and engagement levels increase.
