Scott’s career spans both agency and corporate worlds, at Saatchi & Saatchi, J Walter Thompson, Nike, Heinz and most recently at Williams F1. Scott is an experienced writer and public speaker who combines strong commercial and business acumen with a high level of creativity. He oversees all aspects of The Storytellers’ operation and plays a vital role in guiding the business strategically as it grows both at home and overseas.
A co-founder of The Storytellers, Martin was a senior figure at Marks & Spencer until October 2004, responsible for the redevelopment of the M&S brand and establishing a marketing function across the business. His last role at the retailer was one of ‘storyteller’, underpinning major change programmes through strong, compelling communication. As a board director and one of Europe’s leading conference facilitators, Martin manages a dynamic team of programme managers responsible for all aspects of programme delivery.
Alison is a co-founder of The Storytellers, with a background in PR, marketing and communications. An MA in modern languages from Edinburgh University, Alison has been instrumental in developing The Storytellers’ client-base, and speaks regularly on storytelling in business, engagement and emotional connection at conferences worldwide. Alison advises on the strategic direction of a client’s programme as our relationship with each client begins.
A former director of BMP DDB and co-founder of The Storytellers, Marcus specialises in strategic communications. He has advised on communications issues at BP, Cadbury, BAA (Terminal 5), Boots, Marks & Spencer, Diageo, MoD, Nokia and Rolls-Royce. Marcus leads a team of management consultants, writers, facilitators and planners, and is a key advisor in the detailed planning of The Storytellers' programmes.
Chris was formerly MD at a top live communications agency specialising in internal communications and a co-founder of The Storytellers. He leads the creative direction and delivery of programmes seamlessly across all media, as well as product development across print, digital, film and live media. Chris heads up the production of clients’ film and live events, and is the system architect of web and mobile applications and programme management systems.
