Action speaks louder than words

The latest report from ISR states clearly that engaged employees will result in improved business performance.

It’s still a frustration though at how many business leaders nod their heads in agreement but fail to make that relatively small investment that could, potentially release £££m’s of unlocked potential that is lying dormant in their employees. HOW you engage your employees successfully is the issue here. Too many people confuse communication with engagement - to engage people means to get them to actively participate in contributing to the journey the business is on. Actions speak louder than words. Words, put across in the right way, may help people understand, but to help them really believe in what they are doing and to take ownership of it they need to take action. Only then will you start to see results.
